Gate Safe is a registered charity, founded to improve the standard of safety for the installation and maintenance of automated gates and barriers.
Gate Safe actively promotes awareness of the protocols required to achieve a safe and legally compliant automated gate operation. It delivers IOSH-approved Gate Safe training, maintains the Gate Safe Register of Approved Installers, and provides practical guidance to professionals, gate owners, and the public to encourage best practice in terms of gate safety.

Their Pain
Gate Safe faced considerable operational challenges due to its reliance on manual, time- consuming processes that strained their small administrative team.
As a charity with limited resources, it had to juggle multiple responsibilities, including coordinating training for gate installers, managing memberships for gate installation / maintenance companies, and streamlining day-to-day operations. These activities were being carried out using disconnected spreadsheets and other manual tools, which lacked integration.
This led to inefficiencies, duplicated efforts, and administrative bottlenecks, making it harder for the team to focus on its core mission.

Our Solution
To address these challenges, we customised our Flight platform to deliver a training management system tailored to Gate Safe’s needs. The platform streamlined the entire process, from capturing enquiries directly from the website to managing the sales workflow.
It facilitated the seamless scheduling and management of both open and closed training courses, while automated reminders for delegates and trainers ensured everything stayed on track.
Additionally, the system generated detailed training registers and issued membership certificates to member companies, significantly reducing the administrative burden.
