Storm is an online knowledge-base and business support tool for business owners in the optical industry. We were commissioned by Storm to develop an online portal for use by industry-professionals, conveniently collating a range of useful industry-applications.

Our Solution
  • Design and develop an online platform that would allow for different users, of different access levels, to intuitively navigate to the information they were looking for
  • Improve user-functionality, not only for the end-user, but also to allow for the easy addition and maintenance of content by Storm administrative staff
  • Develop a Single Sign On (SSO) functionality within the portal where the user need only log in once, and they would be granted automatic access to all of their accounts; this included linking the online portal to external systems, such as basecamp.com and shopperanonymous.co.uk
  • Build a Performance Tracker web application which allowed for Storm members to easily track and measure their financial performance
  • Build a second application to serve as a tool to collect customer feedback and record a Net Promotor Score (NPS); a management metric used to gauge the loyalty of a firm’s customer relationships and the service the individual received
  • Automate email and SMS notifications and track negative or positive responses through the NPS, enabling opticians to create bespoke responses to customer feedback
